Monday, October 09, 2006Books books booksI visited the library last night and checked out some books for reference. They mostly deal with African art, but one of them is photo documentation of the Maasai as well. My friend Allie also loaned me a book called A History of Art in Africa. At this point, I have a lot of legitimate book references to work off of. I'm also thinking of leaning towards a more stylized art style for actual human beings, and creating a world where non-humans aren't just enemies, but can mingle with natives. My inspiration for this was Final Fantasy 9, where you didn't just have humans, but dog-, penguin-, ox-, and bird-like people as well. posted at 1:23 PM 0 Comments: |
